" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a unique opportunity to connect with a global community of young leaders who are passionate about creating sustainable change. Being part of this program will allow me to strengthen my leadership skills, gain valuable insights into social impact work, and collaborate on initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. I'm especially looking forward to learning from diverse perspectives, receiving mentorship, and contributing to a project that can have a lasting, positive effect in my community. This fellowship represents a powerful platform to amplify my impact and grow as a changemaker. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Pollution to Solution

The "Pollution to Solution" initiative, developing strategies for plastic waste reduction and community sustainability, while organizing awareness campaigns and partnerships to engage over 1,200 students. Empowered student leaders to drive environmental change through volunteer efforts, clean-up drives, and sustainability education. During the Millennium Fellowship, my project Pollution to Solution focused on reducing plastic pollution in Dhaka. We conducted awareness campaigns, engaged students and volunteers, and partnered with local groups to promote sustainable habits. Our goal was to inspire behavior change, and we succeeded by increasing community participation and building stronger environmental awareness. With more resources, we could have expanded outreach and introduced practical waste-management solutions, but overall the project created meaningful impact within the community
