Millennium Fellowship Project: WRITE to RESTORE
Write to Restore is a youth led mental health initiative under RYD Mental Health that promotes journaling as a simple, accessible, and evidence based tool for emotional wellbeing. The project distributes guided journals and teaches young people especially students, refugees, and persons with disabilities how to use expressive writing to manage anxiety, stress, and low self esteem.
However, the challenges and experiences faced during the Millennium Fellowship sparked innovation thus the project expanding into AuraZ, a digital journaling and wellness app that combines self care, community support, and therapy access. Together, Write to Restore and AuraZ aim to make mental health support affordable, relatable, and culturally relevant, turning wellness into a lifestyle that youth can embrace proudly.
