Millennium Fellowship Project: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS and ADVOCACY
This project focuses on recycling plastic waste into construction materials, aiming to improve solid waste management, keep cities clean, and create income-generating opportunities. It targets people who can earn a living from the initiative as well as those affected by poor waste management. During the Millennium Fellowship, a pilot study was conducted, and community outreach was carried out, highlighting the project’s potential impact and the urgency of addressing plastic waste.
About the Millennium Fellow
My Name is Okoroi Francis Aggrey currently a student pursuing Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Kampala International University, I am passionate about mental health, just like physical health, I believe mental health deserves attention and that always drives me to make a difference in the lives of others. With a strong commitment to mental health, I hope to create awareness, create physical and online spaces where people can speak up and capable of breaking stigma. I hope to learn alot from available resources to enhance my knowledge and skills to impact the community.
