Millennium Fellowship Project: Just Food Meal Kits
The project is focused on the creation of meal kits, filled with fully shelf stable ingredients and a recipe to assist those who pick them up. The meal kits are an optional addition for families that visit the bank, and hope to encourage hands-on meal creation and education surrounding the food we eat for all families and individuals.
About the Millennium Fellow
Keri Lynn Barnes is a highly motivated student at the University of Kansas studying Environmental Studies and Global and International Studies. She was born and grew up in Colorado until she began college in Kansas. Keri’s mother has described her as having a servant’s heart throughout her life, and service for others is the main driver of Keri’s actions and goals. Keri participates and holds leadership positions in a wide range of community service and environmental organizations at the University of Kansas and hopes to pursue a career in international climate and soil science.
