Millennium Fellowship Project: Nzotheka Education Empowerment
Nzotheka Education Empowerment is a project that addresses sustainable development goal number four which tackles quality education. It is implemented by providing economic support and social support to needy primary school students here in Malawi. The economic support covers school fund and the social support is covered through mentorship programs.
About the Millennium Fellow
Matamando Kaunda is a bright, passionate and committed student at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences. She was born in Lilongwe Malawi, resides in Blantyre Malawi and is currently studying Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Sciences in Malawi as well. Her passion to lead and be philanthropic was birthed from the struggles she had as a less privileged child and what her Christian faith encourages her to do. Her desire has always been to see the betterment of other people's lives. She always says that if her today is better than yesterday then surely all hope is not lost for others too and we all can make the world beautiful.
