United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Learning Bridge: Building Access, Breaking Barriers
Our project has two parts.
The first part focuses on advocating for inclusive education, access to infrastructure, and creating awareness for students with disabilities on our campus.
The second part focuses on educating students in secondary schools in Malate on prioritizing their education, taking care of their health, and protecting their environment.
About the Millennium Fellow
Mubarak Abdullahi, a bright and globally competitive Mass Communication student at Kwara State University, Nigeria, was born and resides in Ilorin. Passionate about climate action and partnerships for the goals, he has long championed environmental initiatives. He has organized multiple campus cleanups and climate awareness programs, demonstrating outstanding leadership and commitment. Mubarak envisions continuing these impactful activities, expanding their reach and influence. Dedicated to contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, he strives to inspire others to take action. His mission is to create lasting change, fostering environmental responsibility and global collaboration for a sustainable future.
