Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth empowerment
My name is Fredrick Oluoch a student at kirinyaga university finalist in computer system engineering My project mainly focuses on youth empowerment via information I started this project last year September and my focus has always been high school students and my fellow undergraduate where have always been urging fellow youths about creativity and innovation via conferences dinner meetings and youth empowerment forums which we have been able to do four forums so far .I also focuses on sharing information with the youths about available opportunities and how they can explore those opportunities all the way from scholarship and workshops and I am proud that I have been able to hold scholarship and global opportunities conference where together with my friends we were able to discuss about the available scholarship and global opportunities they can explore and I am happy to share our that our participants were able to explore the opportunities and two got global scholarship to go and study abroad. I will be sharing the photos of our conferences and dinners after this article
About the Millennium Fellow
Fredrick Oluoch Ojuanga is a young bright pre computer engineer graduate who will be joining his final year in few months time and is very passionate with coming up with a sustainable solutions within the community .Born and raised in a humble background and watched within the community kids suffering from diet related diseases as malnutrition Fredrick made a promise to come up with such a solution to ensure that despite having a little amount of money these kids can be able to get a well balanced diet from the little they have and he and his close friends from food science department are working on a flour product that has all the required nutrients for kids to be able to afford to have nutritious food with the little they have and hope that he uses the information that he has to change the mindset of other fellow youths to create change within the community
