United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate change and its impact on human health

This project focuses on climate change and its impact on human health. Building on achievements during the Millennium Fellowship, it raises climate–health awareness and promotes sustainable practices within campuses and surrounding communities. The initiative includes school sensitization programs, educating secondary school students on climate action, youth involvement in reducing climate change, and hosting webinars and workshops to encourage informed, practical climate action.

About the Millennium Fellow

Kazeem Adeola is a dedicated economics student at Lagos State University and a passionate advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 13 on climate action. She is actively involved in environmental sustainability initiatives, youth engagement, and leadership development. With a keen interest in public speaking and community impact, Adeola strives to inspire positive change by combining academic knowledge with grassroots advocacy for a greener and more sustainable future.
