" I believe healthcare is a right, not a privileged, and this fuels my work to fight health poverty. The Millennium Fellowship will empower me to transform passion into lasting change by connecting with a global network, amplifying my project’s reach, and developing solutions that restore dignity and health to marginalized communities. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy Hands, Healthy Lives

Healthy Hands, Healthy Lives is a project aimed at creating awareness and educating the community as a whole on the importance of maintaining adequate hand hygiene. This is to promote health and overall well-being. Proper handwashing goes a long way in the prevention of communicable diseases which are very rampant in both rural and urban communities in Nigeria. This project will incorporate community outreach programs and interactive demonstrations to teach the proper handwashing technique and provision of hand sanitizers. This project will target schools, health facilities, and local communities.
