Millennium Fellowship Project: FindingMe_ToImpact
FindingMe_ToImpact is a personal project that involves I and my team to study, research and develop ourselves in various aspects of life that will help us grow individually and as a community to help navigate life awesomely and then taking this knowledge and resource to impact the people around most especially females so as to encourage them to give life a better shot. We focus on nutrition, health, counselling, family development and care, skill acquisition, independence and sensitive topics like menstruation, adolescent, pregnancy, abortion, childbirth and many more.
About the Millennium Fellow
Akande Oluwatoyin is an intelligent, smart and goal driven young lady that school in ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso Oyo state, Nigeria. Her choice of discipline is Consumer and Home Economics Science, a course that has granted her more insight about how creative she could be. She was born in Lagos state, grew up in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and currently resides in Ogbomoso, her place of study. Over the years, she has always been intrigued about the female gender and all that it holds, this led to a joining the girls floral club as a secondary school student that granted her an opportunity to enlighten her fellow students about the girl child. She beliefs that the Millennium Fellowship program would be a great pillar to further more contribute her quota to the female gender sensitization and greatly looks forward to this opportunity. She is indeed grateful.
