Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Avadhi - Girl Up Discover

Project Avadhi is a flagship initiative by Girl Up Discover that focuses on promoting menstrual equity, awareness, and sustainability among underprivileged communities. The project aims to bridge the gap in menstrual health education and accessibility by providing eco-friendly, reusable menstruation kits to girls and women in low-income and rural areas.
The word ‘Avadhi’ means “period of time”, symbolizing both the menstrual cycle and a period of empowerment — where every woman is given the dignity, education, and resources she deserves.
