" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a unique platform to collaborate with young leaders globally, sharpen my skills, and transform ideas into solutions that create lasting impact in communities. I do this work because I believe that empowering voices and fostering innovation among youth is key to addressing today’s challenges and building a more sustainable, inclusive future. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Campus Moja Initiative

Campus Moja Initiative, is focused on empowering young people to solve some of the world’s most pressing issues through innovative solutions. The initiative has its focus on rural universities in Kenya where students often face limited access to resources and opportunities compared to their urban counterparts. By providing meaningful tools, mentorship, and a collaborative platforms, Campus Moja aims to inspire students to create impactful solutions for pressing global issues like poverty, climate change, and unemployment. Campus Moja will give the students access to mentorship programs, skill-building workshops, mental health support, and a network for meaningful and positive collaboration. Campus Moja’s main goal is to create a space where young people can develop practical ideas that address both local and global challenges. While the primary focus is on rural universities, we also have a draft plan to bring urban universities on board. This will encourage knowledge-sharing and foster a sense of unity and collaboration among students from diverse backgrounds. Ultimately, Campus Moja is about transforming campuses into innovation hubs where students are not only learning but also leading the way in creating sustainable solutions equally. We believe that by empowering young people, you give them an opportunity to change the world.
