Millennium Fellowship Project: Mentorship project
My project focused on mentoring young people, especially those in secondary school, on effective study skills, gender-based awareness, transformative leadership, climate action, and related topics. During the Millennium Fellowship, I was able to reach more than 400 students and address various themes through my sessions.
The goal of the project was to bring positive change to the students, particularly girls. I plan to measure the outcomes after one year to assess progress and impact.
About the Millennium Fellow
Lisper Kaura Muriungi is a young, multi talented and ambitious person. I was born in Eastern part of Kenya and I lived there until when I completed my high school education and joined Maseno university. I am currently in Maseno University in Kisumu county, Nyanza region pursuing Bachelor of Pharmacy with IT. I have always been passionate about transformative leadership and impacting lives. Creating change has always been my desire and it's something I have been doing since primary school. I have served in many organizations as a leader.
