"

Millennium Fellowship Project: Jowaro Creatives and Crafts

In my project am passionate about creating social impact on the issue of unemployment in my circles and environment through creative skills. The project targets unemployed youths and women. I have been offering free training and mentorship on hand skills like; beadmaking, mat making, crocheting and making jewelleries and ornaments. With the knowledge in these areas I have been forming groups of youths and local women and mobilizing them into self employment . Apart from training I also connect them to local markets where they sell their products and with that they are able to make money that sustains their living.
