Millennium Fellowship Project: Tigray HIV Awareness Project
After the war in Tigray, many people are getting infected with HIV and most of them don't even know it. Others who were on treatment before the war have also stopped going to clinics. So we want to raise awareness about hiv, what it is, how it spreads, and how it is treated to help people feel safe, informed and also supported to get tested or return to care. We will do this through campaigns in schools, community discussions, and by working with local health workers. Our goal is to increase understanding, reduce fear, clear up misunderstandings, and help people live healthy lives with the right treatment.
