Millennium Fellowship Project: POWER PROJECT

The POWER Project is an initiative
under SDG 5 – Gender Equality,
dedicated to promoting equal
opportunities for all, including people
with disabilities. It addresses the
problem of gender inequality,
discrimination, and exclusion that
many girls and differently abled
individuals face in schools and
communities. Through community
engagement sessions, empowerment
workshops, and awareness campaigns,
the project equips young people with
knowledge, confidence, and leadership
skills to challenge stereotypes and
advocate for equality. By creating
inclusive spaces and promoting
respect for diversity, the POWER
Project fosters social change where
everyone — regardless of gender or
ability — feels valued, empowered, and
capable of contributing meaningfully
to society.
