" I believe that education, sustainability, and economic empowerment are the pillars of lasting change. The Millennium Fellowship gives me the platform to turn advocacy into tangible impact, collaborate with like-minded leaders, and create policies that uplift women and communities for generations to come. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Education Access for Ugandan Children
This project focuses on increasing access to quality education for children in remote and underserved areas of Uganda, particularly in Agago District and communities affected by past conflicts, including the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA/Kony) insurgency. Through digital mentorship, policy advocacy, and student leadership, I provide academic guidance, career advice, and awareness on educational opportunities. My work includes mentoring over 300 students virtually, advocating for inclusive policies on university boards and senate committees, and raising awareness about barriers faced by children in conflict-affected regions. The project aims to ensure that every child, regardless of background or circumstance, has the chance to access and succeed in quality education.
