Millennium Fellowship Project: The SHE (Safety, health, and empowerment) project

SHE Project is a gender equality and women empowerment initiative focused on equipping women and girls in public schools across Niger with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive. The project addresses critical issues such as recognizing and responding to sexual abuse, providing comprehensive sex education, and fostering skill empowerment to promote self-reliance and independence.
By creating safe and supportive environments for education, this project seeks to empower women and girls to identify abuse, assert their rights, and develop life-enhancing skills. Through workshops, mentor ship programs, and community engagement, the initiative aims to combat societal stigmas, break the cycle of abuse, and inspire a generation of confident, empowered women ready to lead and create change.
