" For me, this work is deeply personal. I have seen women lose their voice in decisions about their own bodies, not because they don't care, but because they lack the knowledge, confidence, and safe space to speak up. I am creating Thrive Femme to close that gap. The Millennium Fellowship is more than just recognition. It’s a chance to grow this work and help women everywhere feel seen, heard, and informed. It also means gaining the tools and community to take this vision from passion to lasting impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Thrive Femme

Thrive Femme is a women’s health education and empowerment initiative created to promote open conversations and accessible learning about topics of importance that are often stigmatised and overlooked such as menstrual health, self care, mental health and overall wellness. By combining digital advocacy, community engagement and creative educational tools, such as flyers, journals, trackers and interactive resources, Thrive Femme seeks to help women and girls better understand their bodies and take charge of their health. We believe that when a woman is healthy, the whole nation thrives, that is why our goal is to provide reliable, culturally sensitive and relatable health information, thereby closing the knowledge gap in female health, reduce stigma, and encourage confidence and self awareness among women and girls, ultimately contributing to healthier, more informed communities and nations.
