" My work is driven by a belief that inclusive policy and law can dismantle systemic barriers and empower marginalized communities, particularly persons with disabilities. Through the Millennium Fellowship, I hope to deepen my capacity to design and implement impactful, community centered initiatives that align with the United Nation's principles and SDGs. The Fellowship’s collaborative environment will help me amplify my work at the Centre for Disability Studies and Empowerment, transforming research into tangible change. I am excited to engage with diverse perspectives, refine my advocacy skills, and contribute to building a more equitable and accessible world for all. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Saathi: Rights and Reach

We sensitised people across office, colleges and school through various means with respect to Disability ID(UDID) issued by government authority and government schemes. We conducted activities. We conducted discussion amongst students with disabilities to open the dialogue on critical issues. We also reached out to government to set up camp to issue cards to person with disabilities and reduce the gap between government and PwD and currently in talks with them.
