Millennium Fellowship Project: Medical Outreach Campaign

First I participated with the AMR committee members of my campus Olabisi onabanjo university sagamu in advocating to the market men & women around the school areas on the danger in misuse of antibiotics, wrong usage, incomplete medication, effects of using medication when not needed and the side effects to the market people,we carried placards with the words written boldly in English and yoruba for easy understanding. Then a member talked to the community about Antimicrobial Resistance and its efforts in the common yoruba they understand better and another member talked with them in pidgin for those who doesn't understand Yoruba also.
We discussed one-on-one with them as every member of the committee distributed themselves for discussions on the audience knowledge on antibiotics in general and advice was given appropriately.
Afterward,I did an online outreach using my LinkedIn account to talk about AMR, its effects and how it can be prevented.
