United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Bright Future for All
Bright Future For All is a social impact initiative designed to promote quality education (SDG 4), reduce poverty (SDG 1), and improve health and well-being (SDG 3), across communities in the Middle East and Africa (for example Yemen and Sudan and Congo etc). The project recognizes education as the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and improving overall well-being, by empowering individuals with knowledge and learning opportunities, we can open door to better livelihoods and healthier lives. It aims to provide accessible education, and supporting families in need by basic health and well-being kits and encouraging healthier lifestyles.
Through social media, Bright Future For All raises awareness, shares educational resources, for example doing awareness content that teach people about their rights and the importance of education and nutrition etc, and also inspires young people to value learning as a tool for change. The project also envisions providing educational workshops for underprivileged students and creating content that encourages healthy habits and community support through social media apps (Tiktok and Instagram, Discord etc. As a Qatari I am rooted to gratitude for the opportunities and resources provided by my country Qatar. Bright Future For All reflects a commitment to extending these SDGS globally because everyone has the right to have access to them by promoting learning and wellness and fairness to help build a more equitable and educated world.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bashayer alsaadi is a dedicated and globally minded international affairs and international security and diplomacy student with a strong commitment to social impact and cultural understanding and sustainable development. Having studied in an international school surrounded by diverse cultures, she developed a deep appreciation for dialogue and collaboration across borders. Passionate about women's rights, eduction, community empowerment etc. Bashayer has actively engaged in initiatives that addresses global challenges. She aspires to advance the United Nations sustainable development goals through meaningful leadership and cross cultural cooperation.
