Qatar University | Doha, Qatar | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 3

" I'm very passionate about providing accessible education about physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and ensuring patients are equipped with the right tools to advocate for themselves. With the connections and guidance offered by the Millennium Fellowship, I believe we can make rehabilitation services shine in a new light. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Qatar Rehabilitation Therapy Students Association
Qatar Rehabilitation Therapy Students Association (QRTSA) is a student club at Qatar University that aims to "support the professional development of all rehabilitation therapy students" and bring awareness to the rehabilitation professions. Through hosting and participating in different events, we aim to shed light on rehabilitation fields, how they contribute to the healthcare workflow, and their role in patient wellness. We currently focus on Physiotherapy (PT) and Speech Language pathology (SLP), as these are the rehabilitation majors at Qatar University, but it is in our plan to branch out and include other rehabilitation professions in Qatar. We also aim to educate people (primarily students) about these professions, invite prospective students to apply, and correct the misconceptions many people have about our fields.
