Sciences Po | Le Havre, France | Advancing SDG 14, SDG 13 & UNAI 3

" “Passion for equity, sustainability, and cross-cultural understanding drives my academic journey and community work. The Millennium Fellowship will provide the platform and guidance to translate my ideas into impactful projects that address both environmental and social challenges. I am eager to collaborate with like-minded peers, align my work with the UNAI principles and SDGs, and develop the skills needed to turn vision into lasting change.” "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth for The Coast
My project will take place in Le Havre, France, since I am an international student at Sciences Po campus: Le havre and I live here. This city is known for being France’s largest container port. Due to this, it is particularly vulnerable to rising sea levels and marine pollution. In general, my campus, my fellow peers are very eco-friendly and I know that they would happily participate in any activity that helps the environment. So, I am hoping to help the coast line through beach clean-ups, once per week. The beach is probably the most important part of the city, as it is the centre of different types of entertainment, restaurants. Throughout this semester, I had the pleasure to have classes with the director of my campus and together, we have been organizing activities for children in primary school. Educating kids is very important if we are talking about long-term influence, as they are our future. So, I would organize art with them and sell it for fundraising. The money will be donated to the organization “Surfrider Foundation Europe – Antenne Seine-Maritimeâ€, that focuses on marine pollution and usually needs support for equipment.
