Millennium Fellowship Project: YouthEM
YouthEm project aims to equip university students with career-ready skills. This project will feature 16 online workshops developed with experts to teach critical hard and soft skills, including communication, public speaking, creative thinking, and technical abilities. A nominal fee of 500 taka ($ 4.11) will be collected from participants and used as prize money for winners of a post-workshop competition that challenges them to apply their new skills to solve real-world problems.
About the Millennium Fellow
Mahfuza Amir Ela is a passionate and dedicated individual, deeply committed to social justice and sustainable development. She is a student at the University of Dhaka, where she actively participates in initiatives promoting UN Sustainable Goals. Mahfuza has a strong background in advocating for climate action, democracy, and women's rights. Her continuous dedication to social action and experiences in various international and local projects highlight her leadership skills and drive to create a more equitable and sustainable future. She plans to continue her advocacy and contribute to the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
