My work focuses on making earthquake resilience inclusive and empowering disabled and marginalized communities, ensuring no one is left behind in our pursuit of sustainable development. The Millennium Fellowship offers a unique platform to collaborate with, learn from, and grow alongside values-driven leaders. I am excited to strengthen my skills in designing and implementing projects that directly contribute to the SDGs, turning research into tangible impact for those who need it most. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Inclusive QuakeReady ASD
Inclusive QuakeReady ASD is a project that will focus on enhancing earthquake preparedness for caregivers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in urban Dhaka. The project adapts disaster training to the cultural, sensory, and communication needs of ASD children and their families, ensuring equitable access to life-saving knowledge and tools. Through culturally resonant workshops, practical drills, and tailored resources, the project empowers caregivers to confidently manage earthquake emergencies while advocating for inclusive disaster policies.
