" My passion for medicine stems from a deep commitment to improving lives and advancing social welfare. The Millennium Fellowship offers a unique platform to transform this passion into impactful action, especially in promoting access to safe drinking water—a vital step toward better health. I am excited to collaborate, learn, and lead initiatives that address health inequities and empower communities in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Beat Breast Cancer
This project focuses on raising awareness about breast cancer. In many developed countries, early detection has significantly reduced mortality rates. Unfortunately, in Pakistan, due to limited awareness, most women are diagnosed at advanced stages, particularly stage IV, leading to higher death rates.
Our objective is to conduct awareness campaigns both on social media and within Jinnah Hospital to educate women. The project aims to highlight the importance of early detection, encourage self-examination, and promote timely medical consultations to improve outcomes.
