" I'm really excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I have always wanted a platform that I can demonstrate my service to humanity and impact lives of people in my community and Millennium Fellow offers that to me. Also, I'm looking forward to working with the people of like-minded who shared the same vision of mine in the impacting lives of people. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Ensuring Cleaner and Safer Environment

I'm filled with compassion as I describe my project. Before I begin, let me give you a glimpse of where I live on campus. I reside in a four-man room in one of the residential halls built by the university management, home to over 1000 occupants. Unfortunately, our hall faces long standing issues, including poor infrastructure, such as unhygienic toilet facilities, inadequate waste disposal, and low-quality water. As a committed committee member of the Hall, I'm driven to make a positive impact on my community. Building on my experience serving on the Hall Health Committee, I've initiated a project to create a cleaner and safer environment. The Millennium Fellowship has provided a valuable opportunity to implement this initiative. The project aims to promote a cleaner and safer environment by providing waste disposal bins and organizing a general sanitation exercise, carried out by the Hall's residents.
