" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it has given me the opportunity to network with change makers globally. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: ANTIMICROBIALS and ME
Antimicrobials and Me is a relevant project because of the threat indiscriminate use of Antimicrobial agents has posed on human health and Ecosystem at large. It's a project aimed at reaching the University Community and Local Communities including Secondary Schools in Nsukka through Video Clips, Podcasts and Outreaches enlightening them on how to take care of their health and those of their Animals without Antimicrobials being the first point of call especially if not prescribed by either a Medical Doctor or Veterinarian. This is a team work and we also want to make sure that this message is also passed across in the native language of the People cause we are planning to reach out to the local farmers as well. We are also on the lookout for people that have some experience in research with Antimicrobials and their resistance or some other enlightening experiences that would be of great help to the population we are about to reach.
