UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT AISHA TITILOLA OLANREWAJU, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
University of Lagos College of Medicine | Lagos, Nigeria | Advancing SDG 3, SDG 4 & UNAI 3

" My passion for merging science, creativity, and community health drives the work I do. I believe that access to mental health education and sustainable healthcare should be a universal right, not a privileged. The Millennium Fellowship offers the platform, mentorship, and global network I need to amplify my impact.
Through it, I aim to refine my projects on herbal medicine awareness and child mental health advocacy, making them more inclusive, sustainable, and aligned with the SDGs. I am particularly excited to grow as a leader while inspiring change that lasts beyond the campus. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Little Leaves, Big Dreams
"Little Leaves, Big Dreams" is a project dedicated to nurturing the mental wellness of children through the therapeutic power of plants. Through interactive workshops and guided gardening sessions, children will discover how plants can positively impact their mood, reduce stress, and enhance focus. They will learn to cultivate their own small gardens, fostering a sense of responsibility and accomplishment. The project will also incorporate mindfulness exercises and creative expression, allowing children to process their emotions and build self-esteem. "Little Leaves, Big Dreams" envisions a community where children feel supported and empowered. By connecting children with nature, we hope to plant the seeds for a brighter future, one leaf at a time. We aim to empower children with practical skills and knowledge about plant care, promoting a deeper understanding of the natural world and its connection to mental wellness. This project isn't just about planting seeds; it's about nurturing dreams and cultivating a generation of resilient and emotionally healthy individuals.
