Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy Society, Sustainable Future
Nigeria's healthcare system faces significant challenges including underdeveloped infrastructures, limited access to quality services, and high expenses for patients. Based on my findings, I discovered that the majority of the chronic diseases people have in the nation are a result of lifestyle choices and unhealthy habits, necessitating the need for awareness on preventive healthcare practices. This project is one which focuses on raising awareness in my community about healthy habits that can improve overall well-being. It focuses on educating people on the importance of good nutrition, regular exercise and proper hygiene. The goal is to empower individuals to make better lifestyle choices that can lead to healthier lives. It is also aimed at reducing the workload on the already faulty healthcare system.
