Millennium Fellowship Project: The Ideal Mindscape
The IdealMindscape is a project that focuses on SDG 3 and aims to explore ways of improving the mental health of student across various campuses in Nigeria. Mental health is often neglected in Nigeria but in reality many students across different campuses continue to battle with various forms of mental health issues ranging to depression to anxiety to ADHD which if left unchecked could affect the academic performance and life as whole. This project aims to educate and enlighten students on how to handle to handle stress, depression, anxiety and overall how to take care of their mental health to improve productivity and general wellbeing
About the Millennium Fellow
Ubongabasi Akpan is a medical student, student leader, and emerging project manager who currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the National Association of University Students (NAUS). Deeply committed to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, his work focuses on promoting good health and well-being (SDG 3), quality education (SDG 4), and strong institutions (SDG 16). Through advocacy, leadership, and capacity-building initiatives, Ubongabasi strives to empower young people to drive sustainable change and create inclusive communities.
