Millennium Fellowship Project: EduHealth Community Impact Initiative
The Healthy Futures Project empowers youth through health education and food security. Building on my role as a peer educator in HIV, AIDS, STIs, and TB awareness, the project will also address youth malnutrition in Tshitavhadulu Village by establishing school food gardens and running nutrition workshops. By December 2025, we aim to reach 300 learners and community members, set up 3 school gardens, and train 50 youth leaders in health and nutrition advocacy.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ramadi Tondani Lucia is a young lady who grew up in Limpopo Province at Tshakhuma Tshitavhadulu village.She grew in a place where opportunities were limited since many people dropped out from school due to various reasons. She was always passionate with changing other people's lives from a young age.This was also encouraged by her parents who used to work for the community .At her high school year level she used to perform well to become an example to others that dropping out due to bad circumstances was not a solution. This made her join peer educator at University of Venda to spread health awareness to other students .She chose teaching as a her first career because she wanted to share knowledge with others.
