Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health; Effects on the Medical community.
This project focuses on creating awareness about mental health, addressing the stigma around it, and helping people clearly understand what mental health means before encouraging them to care for it.
A three-day webinar was organized on the effects of mental health on the medical community, including practical solutions and shared experiences on how to manage mental health challenges. The project serves the medical community, including doctors, medical students, and other medical professionals, and helps them understand that medicine is not always easy and that mental health is essential to sustaining the profession and personal well-being.
About the Millennium Fellow
Jane Amaka Nwankwo is an ambitious medical student with a dream to change the stance of women in Nigeria and the world at large. She was born and raised in Kaduna, Nigeria and currently schools in Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria. Jane is nothing short of devoted to putting first women's health and representation and is very passionate about women's safety. If given the opportunity, she will advocate for women's health safety and representation. Jane is a girl child that wants to be the voice of the girl child.
