Millennium Fellowship Project: Journey for Hope
Journey For Hope (JFH) is a youth-led movement in Isiolo, Kenya, dedicated to improving community health, advancing environmental action, and empowering young people through education and advocacy. The project promotes SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 5, and SDG 13 through a combination of wellness walks, digital literacy programs in marginalized schools, climate-action initiatives, and gender equality campaigns. Through community-driven approaches, JFH creates safe spaces for dialogue, mobilizes young people to lead change, and strengthens resilience across schools and neighborhoods. By blending movement, mentorship, and sustainability, the project builds a healthier, more informed, and united community, proving that every step counts toward long-lasting impact.
About the Millennium Fellow
Tadicha Roba is a passionate medical student, community leader, and environmental advocate from Isiolo, Kenya. He is the founder of Journey For Hope (JFH), a local CBO dedicated to community empowerment through themed walks promoting health, wellness, and social cohesion. Committed to environmental stewardship and sustainability, Tadicha is a member of the Kenya Voluntary Service Organization (KVSO) and the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers Programme. His work bridges innovation with community-driven solutions, inspiring transformation and positive impact across Northern Kenya.
