Millennium Fellowship Project: Legal Literacy for Young Students
My project is in line with SDG16 and SDG 4. The project aim is to.visit children in various school;primary schools, junior high schools and senior high schools to educate them on the basic legal rights and the amenities available to them in case someone infringes on their rights. The initiative will cover legal topics like Rape, defilement, child labour and child abuse.
About the Millennium Fellow
Raymond Appiah is a young, energetic and change driven young man whose a is to make a global impact in any sphere of life he finds himself. He was born in Cape Coast, Ghana and is currently a 3rd year law student at the University of Professional Studies Accra. His current status as a 3rd year law student is a testament of his grit, focus and unwavering passion towards bringing help and justice to people who have non. He has faced many obstacles and continues to face many, however, the obstacles only drive his passion to make a difference in the lives of others. Currently, he has taken various position on campus and is helping several students get help for mental health issues as well as the general populace who have legal issues but cannot afford a law. He has fought, is fighting and will continue fighting for a sustainable future for all, the young and the old.
