Millennium Fellowship Project: Future Leaders Mentorship Program
The Future Leaders Project at Good Samaritan Children’s Home focuses on empowering children through mentorship, skills-building, and supportive developmental activities that promote confidence, resilience, and long-term personal growth.
During the Millennium Fellowship, our project supported the children at Good Samaritan Children’s Home through mentorship and interactive sessions aimed at building confidence, communication, and leadership skills. We successfully engaged the children and created a safe space for learning and self-expression, meeting our immediate goal of establishing rapport and starting leadership development.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nellie Nduati is a dedicated and passionate student with strong interests in technology, community development, and social impact. She was born and raised in the rural part of Kenya, which created a need in her to see everyone, especially underprivileged youth, get equal opportunities to their peers in urban parts of Kenya. She is currently pursuing her studies at United States International University Africa while actively engaging in projects that bridge innovation with real-world solutions, such as developing digital platforms to support artisans and community organizations. Nellie has also contributed her time to volunteer work at Nyumba Ya Wazee, a home for the elderly, where she learned the importance of empathy, leadership, and service. With a growing passion for technology-driven change, she aspires to build a career that blends creativity, impact, and innovation to empower communities.
