Youth for the Mind-Jóvenes por la Mente
Project Overview
Youth for the Mind is a mental health podcast and educational project created to make psychology accessible and stigma-free for young people. Through videos and audio content on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, the project provides clear and relatable information on emotional well-being, psychotherapy, family dynamics, and daily mental health challenges. Its mission is to build a supportive community where young people feel understood, validated, and empowered to care for their mental health.
Project Impact
During the Millennium Fellowship, Youth for the Mind made meaningful progress toward providing accessible and stigma-free mental health education for young people. The project produced and published podcast and video episodes focused on emotional well-being, family dynamics, and psychotherapy, increasing engagement and encouraging young people to share their experiences and seek guidance. A supportive digital space was created where youth felt understood and connected. While limited time and resources restricted the expansion of collaborative and community-based activities, the Fellowship helped strengthen the project’s foundation, improve outreach, and clarify future steps for growth.
