Project Overview

Project Impact

During the Millennium Fellowship, Youth for the Mind made meaningful progress toward its goal of providing accessible and stigma-free mental health education for young people. I produced and published new podcast and video episodes focused on emotional well-being, family dynamics, and psychotherapy, which helped strengthen the project’s consistency and visibility. Engagement across platforms increased, as more young people interacted with the content, shared their experiences, and reached out for guidance, showing that the project is meeting a real need.

What went particularly well was the connection built with youth audiences and the creation of a supportive digital space where they feel understood. However, there were also challenges. Limited time and resources made it difficult to expand into collaborative or community-based activities as originally planned.

Overall, the Fellowship helped solidify the project’s foundation, improve outreach, and clarify the next steps for scaling Youth for the Mind beyond the program.
