Welcome Class of 2026!

Welcome to the Millennium Fellowship, presented by United Nations Academic Impact and Millennium Campus Network (MCN).

Your journey into the world of social impact starts now. We are thrilled to welcome you into the Class of 2026. This year we received a record breaking 76,000+ applications from 6,000+ campuses and 170+ countries. Your campus is amongst the 5% which were selected into the program. CONGRATULATIONS!

Important Note ⚠️

  • Emails are our primary and official mode of communication. For the duration of the fellowship, we ask you to periodically check your inbox attached to your registered email id (the email you used to submit your Round 2 application) to stay up to date with all the updates from the fellowship. 

  • Moving forward you will be using your Millennium Fellowship ID & your confirmed Email ID for all submissions. Please make sure to keep it handy throughout the program. Your Millennium Fellowship ID was shared in your acceptance email.

Confirm your Participation

Submit the confirmation form to officially confirm your participation in the program by August 25th, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. You would need your Millennium Fellowship ID to fill the form. Refer to your acceptance email for that. 

Attend the Global Town Hall Ceremony

RSVP to the virtual Global Town Hall on August 20, 2026 at 10:00 to 11:30 am Eastern Time. The Global Town Hall is your formal induction ceremony into the fellowship program. Attendance at the town hall is a graduation requirement. RSVP here and find your local time for the ceremony here. 

Complete the Program Entrance Survey

Complete the Program Entrance Survey here by August 30th, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. It is a graduation requirement and should ideally be completed before the first training session. It takes less than 15 minutes to complete and responses are kept anonymous and only analysed collectively. 

Share the Good News!

You can now share your selection as a Millennium Fellow on social media with the hashtag #MillenniumFellowship. Here are some resources to help share the news:

  • Draft content to share the news and to join the announcement campaign, check here.

  • We also encourage you to get your university/campus newspaper and local media to cover the news this month.  You can share the best point(s) of contact to reach your campus media with us at marketing@mcnpartners.org with the subject line [Press - Add Your University Name] and we would be happy to help provide a draft press release or reach out and encourage them to feature you and the selected Millennium Fellows on your campus.  

Connect with your Campus Directors

Millennium Fellows, your Campus Directors will be reaching out to your over email and/or your contact number by August 31st 2026. If they have not reached out to you by this date, email us at fellowship@mcnpartners.org

Join the Fellowship Portal

You will soon be invited to join the Millennium Fellowship Portal via your registered email by August 31st 2026. Make sure to join the portal. The portal is an exclusive platform for Millennium Fellows to connect with the global fellowship community and access all necessary resources and curriculum.

Congratulations on your selection as the Campus Director for your cohort. Campus Directors are the facilitators of the Fellowship on their campus. We look towards you as our thought partners as we move forward in the Class of 2026 and beyond. We are counting on your leadership!

4-Hour Intensive Training

 

To set you up for the role ahead!

Your Point of Contact will reach out, connect you with your co-campus director and the contact information of all the fellows. 

Prepare and Facilitate  6 Training Sessions along with your Co-director

Mark Attendances,
Track Fellowship Submissions for fellows in your cohort, provide support to them on fellowship activities

Do at least 2 check-in calls (Sep & Oct) with your POC at Team MCN

Coordinate with fellows and ensure they have completed all the graduation requirements.

Next Steps for Campus Directors

Onboarding Training Session

Please refer to your Campus Director Selection Email to register for two of the 90 minute virtual Campus Director onboarding training sessions that will take place between 21-26th August. Attendance is compulsory and is required to ensure that you have all the tools and resources to start.

Connect with your Cohort

After your Campus Director Onboarding Training Sessions, you will be put in touch with your other campus director and you will be given access to the contact information of all the Millennium Fellows participating in your campus. Please ensure you are reaching out to them before August 31st 2026. 

Join the WhatsApp Group

Please refer to your Campus Director Acceptance email to join the Class of 2026 Campus Director WhatsApp Group for better communication and coordination.

Connect with your POC

Refer to your Campus Director Acceptance email to get in touch with your Primary Point of Contact for the fellowship duration. 

University Support

Fill out th3 form with the email address for your University President/Vice-Chancellor and campus faculty advisors (if any) as shared in your acceptance email. We will follow up with a congratulatory email to this individual(s)

Schedule your Initial Check-In Call (Late August)

Your Point of contact will also be reaching out to you to schedule the initial check-in call with you and your co-director.
