Government, parents, elders and traditional rulers are key stakeholders to this. I would like to organise a program that would involve educated successful women that were able to make it in carrier and family, where we try and transform the mentality of "no education for the girl child" and "women do not need education". This will be carried out on series of days through radio talk (the most common communication platform for the common man), phisical campaign, visit to traditional elders and government for better policies also encouraging parents of young girls to have them enrolled in school and complete their education. A fund raise can be made for financial support for those facing poverty and connecting young girls with mentees they can see as role models. After that we can evaluate the increase in interest and participation of girl child in pursuing their studied. MCN not only provides us the opportunity to 'GLOBAL' but to also see the effects of social impact in other parts of the world as well. It tells us that it is the 'YOUTH' only who can and will provide us with the solution to contemporary problems. " Millennium Fellowship Project: UNGAPPED US In this project, I am planning to remove the increased gap between rich and poor. I know it's not a task that can be completed in just August to December but we take a projected number to help them no matter whatsoever. So I think the root cause of every problem is poverty but the cause I envision here is increased inequalities- it is a result of all the problems one can think of this gap continue to widen, What I am proposing is we will reach out to 50-100 Houses. Considering one house as an individual entity we will try to raise their income level, educational level, reach to good health level. (Example) (May involve different case scenario)This would be done in the following way-Suppose in a family there are 5 members - Mother, Father, One Sister(Age10), One Brother(Age 10) and Another brother(Above 18). This family lives in a tent no member has ever attended school and the father does the unskilled work. We will approach this family under 'Ungapped Us'. We will collect the info on how do they earn, what is there current income level and like that. Then we will, first of all, help them have the essential social documents without which you can't have any benefit. After having that we will enrol both the sister and brother aged 10 to get enrolled to the nearest government school and have all the clothes books, bags as provided by the government. Then we will have the Father, Mother and Son(Aged above 18) enrol themselves in 'Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana' nearest Training Centre. We will have them learn the skills through which they can earn money in the formal sector with their skill. Then we will have them enrolled on the 'National Food Security Card' through which they will be given food for sustenance. Supposing all the families we approach are BPL then we will approach the jurisdictional government on available housing issues and if possible a house for them could be made available to the government. Then we will have them insured health-wise at government expense under the ' Ayushmaan Jan Arogya Yojana' We will take this project on Two fronts first either fieldwork or Research on that selected population and submission of that research report to government authorities. We might pursue both in a Non-Covid Situation at that time. Our primary goal is to reach out to people of a selected area and help them to come into the mainstream. It might involve different strategies but the main goal is capacity building and reducing inequalities through skill development and all other measures. Seeing i have been chosen means I'm been given the chance to make an impact and I'm beyond elated because all my creativity, all my dreams and all my plans for a better and quality education have been given an opportunity to be actualized. " Millennium Fellowship Project: Catch Them Young My Millennium Fellowship project (Catch Them Young) in support of the SDG 4 ( Quality Education) focused on supporting children from low-income backgrounds, especially those in public schools who have little or no access to the internet or basic digital tools. Growing up, I understood how challenging it can be to lack exposure to technology and essential 21st-century skills, so this project was my way of giving young students the opportunities I once wished I had. Together with my team consisting of three other Millennium Fellows and four dedicated volunteers, we planned and carried out a full-day outreach program in a public school. Our goal was simple but powerful , to introduce children to the world of technology, build their confidence, and equip them with foundational digital and leadership skills that can shape their future. During the outreach, we taught over 60 students various skills, including basic computer operations, how to navigate the internet safely and effectively, and simple technology concepts that can spark their curiosity. We also introduced leadership and communication skills, helping them learn how to express their ideas, work in teams, and believe in their abilities. The sessions were interactive and practical. We didn’t just talk, we allowed the students to practice what they learned, ask questions, and engage in activities that made the learning fun and relatable. The students were excited, eager, and deeply involved, and the teachers gave us a warm welcome and full support throughout the day. To assess their understanding, we ended the outreach with quizzes, games, and question-and-answer segments. It was heartwarming to see how much they had learned within such a short time and how confidently they participated. This project was more than just teaching; it was about empowering young minds who rarely have access to such opportunities. It reminded me of the importance of giving back, creating equal chances, and ensuring that no child is left behind simply because of where they come from. Engaging with these students strengthened my resolve to continue advocating for digital literacy and leadership development among children in underserved communities. Overall, the project was a meaningful experience for both my team and the students, and it reaffirmed my commitment to building a generation of confident, tech-savvy, and purpose-driven young leaders.
