    Badejo Joshua Olajide is a passionate youngster, who is a student of the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, currently undergoing a program in Doctor of Optometry. He hails from Idomila, in Ogun state Nigeria. He is driven by the desire to impact his sphere positively, he enjoy working with fellow creative minds with a view of fostering team work. Overall, he desire to add value that can Foster growth, development and capacity in his local community and in extension the larger society. He has held a number of Leadership positions from highschool, amongst which he was a two time president of the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS), he has managed other leadership role in other organizations, such as being the deputy team head at the SMA Impact network, a non governmental organization focused on growth and impact. He is currently a volunteer at the Young Health Initiative (YOHI), and a member of The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI, Kwara state, Nigeria), and Junior Chamber International (JCI, University of Ilorin, Nigeria). " Millennium Fellowship Project: PoleStar Health Initiative The PoleStar Health Initiative project, centered on sensitizing people in the informal sector like market women, on the availability of the Kwara State Health insurance scheme, that allows them access quality healthcare for themselves and children at a very reasonable reduced cost for a whole year. Beyond the sensitization, we helped with the pre-registration of some of these women and men for this scheme, as most of this women don't know how to handle digital devices. Born and raised in Kenya, she grew a passion for realizing a "brighter" Kenyan future, seeing as a significant portion of the country is yet to benefit from the national electricity grid. This has played a key role in shaping the trajectory of her college and career interests. Maria is a proud historian and dancer in African Rhythms Drum and Dance Troupe, the Chief of Marketing for the Society of African Internationals at Penn. She is also actively involved in Fossil Free Penn and Sustainable Solutions, organisations on campus that are aimed at "localising the SGD's."     Dhvani Shukla, an engineering student at the Institute of Chemical Technology Indian Oil Odisha campus in Bhubaneswar, is brilliant, young, and highly competitive person. She has always been fervent in her advocacy for raising the underprivileged via education, as far back as I can recall. Being from a very tiny town, she has witnessed residents living on the sidewalk and scrounging together two square meals each day. She believes that bringing everyone up is the definition of success. Different types of discrepancies are more or less a worry when it comes to illiteracy. The nation's literacy rates are influenced by caste, gender, and sometimes technological constraints. She has always made an effort to assist others around her by educating them and raising awareness of the opportunities available to them. She aspires to implement her ideas and contribute to improve lives of needy ones in development of united nations sustaible goals. " Millennium Fellowship Project: Quality Education for Underprivileged The project 'Quality Education for Underprivileged' aims to help orphan children to help realize their potential, which starts with connecting and getting to know the areas they lack in. Students in orphanages aren’t able to continue their studies and/or decide on their field of study owing to a lack of guidance among other disadvantages. A few sessions on opportunities and basics of life every month and some donations and food drives will help them move towards a more opportune life for them. The project would help orphan children to lead righteous life by eliminating issues of awareness, and hopefully, poverty. Through her project, she intends to create the first student-run organization at her university that advocates for decreasing the prevalence of sexual assualt. After she graduates, she plans to attend medical school where she will continue her advocacy for sexual eduaction and health. While official school resources exist for reporting, I believe there is a gap in education and advocacy within the student body at our university. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will allow me to make a greater social impact within my community through collaboration with Fellow students. As the first student-run organization against campus sexual assault, we will provide learning opportunities, open discussions, and a space for anyone wanting to learn more about this issue. I am excited to see the ways in which we can raise awareness about the issue and advocate for more tangible change. " Millennium Fellowship Project: Students Against Campus Sexual Assault The project is focused on founding a student group on campus that raises awareness for sexual assault and supports victims of sexual assault. Our campus does not currently have a student based group, and this project would be a great way to incorporate student voices into the issue. I believe that a student based group could enact more systemic change within the school community as we could organize events with more student engagement. The welfare of the population's health depends on the availability of safe air, food, water, and hygiene, and the current situation is threatening those resources. The ClimateSustainXchange Project aims to improve the climate and sustain its normalcy by creating awareness and mobilizing people to take action. The project comprises three sub-projects: Treesurrection, Aquaconciliation, and Sanitation Club Formation. Through these sub-projects, the project seeks to address the problem of climate change and its impact on people's health by promoting the availability of safe air, food, water, and hygiene, creating sustainable sanitation clubs in schools, and improving rural water quality. The ultimate goal of the project is to create a sustainable future by improving the environment and promoting healthier lifestyles. " Millennium Fellowship Project: Suluhisho Project Suluhisho' is a Swahili word for resolution. The project seeks to create awareness on the need to use alternative means of dispute resolution especially between law enforcers and the citizens. The law enforcement officers have been characterized as brutal and uncouth in the course of their duties. This project seeks to enlighten everyone involved in a dispute including law enforcers on how to handle the same to achieve positive results and in a way that will enhance and promote peace in the society. This way, police force institutions will consequently be strengthened. I plan to use social media as a tool to enhance the same. My project looks at promoting SDG 16 which aims at promoting peace and strengthening institutions. In response to the raising cases of femicide in Kenya-with victims mostly being university students, UnbreakaBelle provides affordable,accessible and high impact training within academic institutions.The program integrates physical techniques, psychological preparedness, and preventive safety strategies, delivered in partnership with certified trainers. The pilot session successfully trained 35 participants, marking a meaningful first step toward building a safer campus environment. The long-term vision is to host regular trainings throughout the academic year, expand to multiple universities, and eventually include secondary school students, ensuring girls and young women across Kenya have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to stay safe. UnbreakaBelle ultimately seeks to create a culture of empowerment, awareness, and resilience ,because every woman deserves to feel safe, strong, and UnbreakaBelle. About the Millennium Fellow Driven by passion for equity and community health, Riya Patel is a fourth year medical student from The University of Nairobi,Kenya.Volunteering at various medical camps across the region, she has gained first hand insight into the barriers faced in low resource settings. Passionate about public health, she is committed to bridging the gap between health care access and communities, while advocating for women's rights and ensuring equity in the medical field and beyond, across social,professional and interpersonal spheres.     Sushana Suzane Mathew is a third-year Economics Honours student at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bannerghatta Road Campus. Born in India and raised in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Sushana has been actively involved in both academic and co-curricular activities from a young age. Her passion for sustainability and environmental preservation led her to play a significant role in her school's Eco Club, focusing on air and land audits. In college, Sushana continues her commitment to social service through her active participation in the Centre for Social Action (CSA). Through the Millennium Fellowship, she hopes to contribute meaningfully to the community and the environment.
